(Senior) Ruby Engineer (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Web Development and Platform Building – You bring digital-first to the energy sector, and are a driving force in the development of our platform, contributing to Fuchs & Eule’s success by building a strong technical foundation

• Software Engineering and Quality Assurance – You ensure that the software you write always has a high code quality, and deliver a high level of test coverage, security and performance

• Teamwork and Initiative – You work in your cross-functional team with UX designers, product managers and other engineers, actively participating in product discussions and code reviews to find solutions together

• Agile Work and User-Centeredness – You and your colleagues create added value for our customers through frequent, iterative releases

Your profile

• Experience and Technical Expertise – You have solid experience in setting up internet platforms with Ruby on Rails and are enthusiastic about the latest approaches like Hotwire

• Architecture Understanding and Best Practices – You feel at home with the components and interactions within software systems as well as common methods of modern web/cloud software development and testing

• Passion and Willingness to Learn – You are particularly passionate about the Ruby ecosystem and strive to constantly develop your skills, look for meaningful work content and take responsibility from your own initiative

• Language – Your spoken and written English is fluent
