Senior Legal Counsel - Payments (m/w/d)

We are hiring for one of Berlin's leading employers that are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to manage all payment-related legal matters for their entire group of companies.

Tasks

• Advise on all regulatory and contractual issues related to payment services.
• Working closely with the product team to implement payment solutions for their consumer-facing product.
• Draft, structure, and negotiate payment contracts with payment service providers.
• Steer legal/regulatory decisions and in setting the direction for payment methods.
• Be the main point of contact with regulators, nationally and internationally.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience from a reputable law firm or in-house.
• Can-do attitude, we are looking for someone who is not afraid to get involved and take ownership of all types of legal matters (it could literally be anything!).
• Experience working in the consumer banking / payments / Fintech space.
