What we are looking for
Assist with creating the Group consolidated financial statements incl. notes and management reports. Manage and improve the monthly Group closing process. Run consolidation and make Group adjustments in the Group?s consolidation tool. Help standardise, unify, and simplify accounting processes and the application of accounting standards across the Group. Prepare the roll-out of new accounting standards. Be(come) the go-to-expert for complex accounting / IFRS questions. Who we are looking for
Extended work experience in relevant positions, ideally in a Group Accounting function, accounting consultancy or audit practice. Expert knowledge of IFRS and its information requirements in the notes Knowledge of German GAAP or other European accounting standards is a plus. Good practical understanding and experience of (de-)consolidation procedures and tools (experience with LucaNet is an advantage). Demonstrated initiative, strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. Strong analytical and structured thinking skills as well as a pragmatic, hands-on mentality. Dynamic work style and a strong goal orientation, flexible and adaptable. Excellent English and German skills complete your profile. Good command of other languages relevant to AVIV?s markets is a plus. What we offer you
