Our company has been backed by Atlantic Labs, our pre-seed investor, and several well-recognized Business Angels, including former Co-founders of Hybris (SAP) and Demandware (Salesforce).

Tasks
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for setting the stage in the entirely new market for Meetsales. Your main responsibility will be to start and continue to grow the new business in the DACH region across multiple sectors. Your goal will be to generate new leads, close new business, and provide a first-class service in the process.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our CEO. You will have a real impact on our sales strategy and business growth while being the very first person from the German market to join our team. We are looking for a self-driven, open-minded, ambitious, and motivated sales professional who wants to work for a forward-thinking, fast-paced startup. Ideally, you would have some experience with marketing, and a strong background in business development, sales, or customer success.
Remember that this is an early-stage startup, so things are happening fast, with high intensity. Be ready for it!
Being responsible for opening new markets
Taking ownership of the full sales cycle from leads gen, product demo, negotiation and closing
Generating new business opportunities with prospective clients by targeting specific verticals in the DACH market
Building a strong pipeline of relevant opportunities to deliver against sales targets
Building and maintaining an in-depth understanding of our product
Working closely with our CEO on sales strategy and business development each day
Cooperating with our marketing team to share insights and help them understand the market
Running regular sessions with our Junior Sales Manager, who will be also supporting you in your work
Requirements
5+ years experience in Business Development in the DACH region
Experience in working with eCommerce and SaaS companies
Good understanding of software-related ideas and terms
Will to work in a changing environment
A desire to grow, upskill and win
Proven track record of over-achievement throughout your career
Excellent selling skills built on trust and reliability
Proven ability to identify and develop new business
Proven understanding of sales metrics and how to use them to build success
Proven understanding of lead gen strategies
Can-do mindset and hands-on approach
Native or fluent German
Strong English skills - written and spoken
