Job description:
Scientific services in research and teaching in in particular for the development of optically controllable molecular materials Molecular design and organic synthesis of photoswitchable molecules and investigation of their distinct properties Tasks for your own scientific qualification (PhD) Requirements:
Completed scientific university Master’s degree with a specialization in organic chemistry, synthetic materials chemistry or related fields, all with relevant experience in experimental work In-depth knowledge of organic synthesis and spectroscopic (possibly microscopic) characterization of molecular materials mandatory Good theoretical background in optical spectroscopy and data interpretation required Experience in photochemistry is an advantage Experience with standard software such as ChemDraw and data analysis tools like Origin are a plus Very good proficiency in written and spoken English required
