Aufgaben

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Junior Accountant for the department in Berlin.

• You are an all-round talent in financial accounting
• Familiar with the usual accounting programmes
• Timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS, including US GAAP where applicable
• Preparation of advance VAT returns
• Monitoring accounts receivable, accounts payable, personnel and asset accounting
• Monitoring the dunning process
• Co-operation with external bodies (tax office, auditor)
• Collaboration in the optimisation of internal processes and procedures
• Analytical thinking, high affinity for numbers, structured and precise way of working

Qualifikation

• Professional experience of 3-5 years
• Very good knowledge in setting up financial accounting and budgeting, also fluent in German and English from scratch.
• Confident handling of MS Office especially Excel
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Independent and structured way of working
