RESPONSIBILITIES

Within the HR Services Team Central & Eastern Europe, we are a diverse and inclusive team of experts and young professionals. Together, we are committed to deliver the highest quality of service to our BASF partners in Central Europe. Our team is growing! We are looking for a well-organized and customer-oriented HR Officer with Hungarian (m/f/d) to join our team. In this role:

  • You work in close cooperation with our HR Specialists in Berlin, our local HR Partners in Central Europe and our providers.
  • You handle various HR operational and administrative tasks, such as HR Admin, Payroll and document management.
  • As an HR all-rounder, you maintain employee data into our HR systems and support on some tasks for recruiting and administration of trainings.
  • You perform data quality checks and support the team on different reporting topics.
  • Using Hungarian and English language, you advise and inform BASF employees in Central Europe regarding HR topics, both by phone and via e-mail.
  • You contribute to our quality and knowledge management by documenting all processes and relevant legal regulations in accordance with our high-quality standards.
  • You participate in HR projects and digitalization initiatives in the Berlin Hub and with our local HR Partners in Central Europe.

    • QUALIFICATIONS

  • You completed studies in business administration, social sciences, human resources or a related field, and ideally already gained a first professional experience in HR.
  • You are looking for a one-year contract (with opportunity for prolongation) to start your career in Human Resources.
  • You bring solid MS Office skills, especially with Excel. Experience working with SAP and Success Factors is a plus.
  • You are fluent in Hungarian and English. The knowledge of other east European languages is a plus (Slovak, Czech, Greek, Ukrainian).
  • You have good analytical skills and an eye for details, are proactive, well-organized and customer oriented.
  • You are accustomed to working both independently and as part of a team.

  • Gross annual salary (full time): 31,000€ - 35,000€, depending on qualifications and work experience.
